I was raised on the Laguna Beach coast where my mother cultivated a beautiful herb and flower garden. It planted a seed of interest that remained with me as I grew up.  Something clicked when I learned how plants can be used as medicine. 

 

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo I began developing cosmetic, hair, and skincare  for brands L’Oreal, Proctor & Gamble, Redken, Josie Maran, Orly and SpaRitual. Throughout my career I veered toward green beauty.

 

When I was pregnant with my first child, I began studying herbalism at the California School of Herbal Studies. Core to the curriculum is that we must look to our ancestors for wisdom, the earlier generations that used plant medicine for all things. It helped me understand why I felt a kinship with plants and stones from such a young age. It was within me.

 

Wildling is a perfect marriage of my professional expertise and my passion for plants and stone medicine. I named the company quite simply after a wild plant and my wild self, Wildling. I love the beauty and strength a plant holds in its wild habitat and wanted women to feel that same strength and beauty with our products.  I feel so fortunate to get to work every day with products I love and believe in, and it's my greatest joy to share it with the world.
